The Drifter House Rules

As a shared experience we ask all guests to follow certain principles and guidelines.

  • Check-out is 10AM unless pre arranged. Late checkouts before 12PM will incur a fee.  
  • Late checkouts after 12PM will incur a fee equivalent to one night’s stay. 
  • Each guest must remain in their designated bed and speak with a host if they wish to change 
  • Visitors are not permitted on guest levels or in guest only communal areas.  
  • No sleeping bags as they can carry unwanted pests 
  • No bikes, drugs, smoking or vaping anywhere inside the property. 
  • No food or drink (besides water) is permitted inside the rooms  
  • No large electrical items such as TV’s, e-bike batteries, heaters or other fire hazards 
  • No sleeping in communal areas, that’s what the beds are for. 

We aim to promote a fun, friendly and safe environment for every guest, host and neighbour.

Guests who do not follow principles may have their booking cancelled. We hold no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of your personal belongings. Guests must label and date food in kitchens otherwise it will be discarded. Guests are required to wash and return items used within the kitchen for other guests. Payment for stay must be made in advance of check in. Extensions must be confirmed as your access will be deactivated and belongings removed. Staff on-shift may conduct regular room checks. To respect neighbours we ask for no noise outside the premises. Certain areas will be closed early to allow rest for both guests and neighbours. We reserve the right to evict without refund any individuals who do not comply. Non-compliance with eviction instructions will result in the authorities being contacted
